Faculty- 5 Full-time (hiring 1 more), 18 Adjunct Foster & Kinship Care/Independent Living Coordinator Chile Development Center Supervisor Offerings: 2 Degrees: AA in ECE and ECE AS-T degree 10 certificates, 2 new certificates currently in review 33 course offerings, 6 cross-listed courses Master Teacher certificate specializations involve multiple departments 3 instructional lab courses (new course: ECE 407-Curriculum and Strategies for Children with Special Needs) Higher Ed Pathway Agreement: CSUS accepts 20 ECE units as electives; 12 ARC ECE units transfer directly into their Child Development major and Teaching Credential Pathway 5 ECE courses meet ARC GE requirements and 2 meet CSU/UC GE requirements Job Preparation: ARC ECE courses meet both Title 22 and Title 5 requirements for teachers and directors in licensed early childhood education programs Our ARC ECE program also provides the foundation for a variety of careers working with children and families Brief Description of your program. 6 Child Development Center
The ARC CDC is both an instructional lab for the ECE department and a student service for the ARC campus. The ECE faculty and the CDC staff collaborate to provide a high quality early childhood education program for children, families, and lab students. We host tours of the CDC for policymakers, state agencies, and visitors (local, state, national and international. Child Development Center

9 Planning Implications
To increase numbers of degrees/certificates Fall 2016 we are implemeting block scheduling for afternoon classes to increase productivity. Creating a 2-year rotation for scheduling classes to allow students to graduate within two years both on campus and at Natomas, to meet the needs of our day, evening, and online students. Student Success: Encouraging students to seek out campus resources (RAD, WAC, Beacon tutoring) Implementing needs assessment surveys at the beginning of the year Attending professional development trainings to increase our awareness and skills in addressing the Achievement Gap.

10 The ECE Department will continue to work collaborate with the CDC to find ways to increase the revenue to work toward the goal of financial stability.
