Basketball TURNOVER: loosing the ball to the other team CARDIOVASCULAR: an exercise that raises your hear rate FOUL: touching the other team CHARGE: offensive foul TRAVELING: moving incorrectly with the ball GUARD: ball handling, shooting position GOAL: a hoop ten feet from the ground with a net

Dribbling  Two ball dribbling dramatically increase a player’s dribbling and ball handling abilities.  It also helps a player develop great one on one moves. This happens because after you force your mind/body to perform a really difficult task with a basketball, just dribbling one become a lot easier.  Tennis ball

Passing  Chest Pass: from your chest to your partners  Bounce Pass: chest pass with a bounce  Overhead Pass: above your head  Lob Passes are not safe because the other team has a high change of making a steal.

Shooting  When shooting a basketball you should use your dominant hand to shoot the ball, and use your other hand to balance the ball.  When you release the ball from your hand your hand should form the shape of a goose being hung.

Lay-Ups  When making a lay up you need to jump off of one foot and lay the ball up with the opposite hand. You should be approaching the basket quickly on your dominant side.

Dunking  When you perform a dunk you jump up into the air toward the basketball hoop and without letting go of the ball you slam it into the basket.  There are many different ways you can dunk a ball but there is only one original way, and that is facing toward the basket and slamming the ball into the basket with two hands.
