BMA House Christmas Lunches 2010 Results Please detail what you felt we did the best and you enjoyed the most. The food was great, it was nice having Christmas songs playing in the background and the decoration of the canteen was really lovely. everything was good The veggie main was very nice as were the starters. The service was very good too. The salmon starter with the toast from the liver. I enjoyed the meal and the service was good. The quality of the food was excellent, even if the portions were quite meagre! The food and the organisation Friendly service and festive atmosphere The menu selection The food and service was excellent but a bit more atmosphere and togetherness. Please advise us this year if you would like to be seated closer to other departments The turkey main course was very good. The tables looked really lovely, but everything was good, so it's difficult to single something out 14 Is there anything you think we missed and could incorporate next year? We thought the raffle was part of the package. Most of us didn't bring wallets with us so missed out on buying tickets. It would have been nice to know they were to be purchased in advance so we could have been prepared for this. We will most certainly communicate this much clearer this year, if we do it again. no It would be nice to have a different choice of veg other than brussel sprouts (i know there were carrots) but not many people like sprouts. The mince pies were a bit much after dessert and we would have preferred chocolate mints instead. A bit more entertainment. Entertainment would be wonderful, however the ticket price would go up significantly!! Not much in the way of decorations - felt a bit "out of it" as we were at the back of the room and couldn't hear or see the raffle. If we do another raffle this year we will of course use a mic to make the raffle more known on the day. You missed selling any raffle tickets to my table. The first we heard about the raffle was when the draw was held! STAFF IN SANTA AND ELF OUT FITS! ;O) Music was a bit loud for those sitting near the speakers. Having the lunch available on days nearer Christmas Slightly friendlier service maybe... Obviously have enough seating but put people together more. There was more pate than toast - so maybe that could be changed for next year. I enjoyed the lunch on a whole:) There was a distinct lack of Christmas decorations, which contributed greatly to the lack of atmosphere. I have attended the Canteen Christmas Lunch for every one of the 12 years that I have worked for the BMA but I will not be attending next year's. If you could contact us we would greatly appreciate it as we would love to hear what we could do further to improve the day/meal. All good - well done! It was an improvement on last year, which wasn't bad either.
