Year 2 Procedures Information about when specialist equipment is needed can be found in the new home-school communication book. Beginning and end of day routines. Assessments: Ongoing throughout the year Reading, writing (including spelling) and Numeracy

How you can help? Punctuality and lates Attendance Ready to learn – breakfast! Increased independence Increased self awareness

How can you help at home? Sign the diary daily Assist with Home Learning Regularly practise Multiplication Tables (counting) and Numeracy Passport Monitor progress Reading regularly (comprehension as well as mechanics!)

Ask your child questions: What have you learnt? What did you find difficult / easy today? How do you know? What would help you get better? When could you do this? Is there anyone or anything that could help you? What are your targets? How will you ensure you meet these targets?
