If food is provided, it is only for coaches with back to back sessions. It is within the Meet Directors rights to provide vouchers or no food at all. 13

Georgia Information Coaches Education- If you have a Level 10 team at state meet or qualify an athlete to Level 10 nationals, GA USAG will pay for one coach from your club to attend the W300 or W400 coaching course. Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta was the athletes charity choice for 2015 Level 10s entry fees for Regionals were paid by the state $5,000 was donated to the Tim Rand Fund 14

Georgia Information Clubs who are delinquent in their fees to the state of Georgia will not be eligible to receive team awards at state meet. They will also not be allowed to list their meets on the state calendar, receive regional apparel or any other state funded support until their fees are paid. 15

16 JO Nationals Due to restructuring of JO Nationals, the first alternates will no longer be on site at the competition. We would like coaches of alternates to be aware that there are often numerous scratches of athletes up to and including the day of competition. We encourage coaches and their athletes to continue training and be prepared to travel at the last minute if at all possible. 16

17 Support Region 8 Region 8 provides all coaches who qualify athletes to Level 9 Easterns and JO Nationals with apparel to wear at these National competitions. Failure to wear this apparel will result in a $100 fine to the State account. The State Chairman will then collect fines from the non-compliant coach. 17

16 Support Region 8 Tim Rand Legends Fund Pays entry fees for Level 9 & 10 athletes to Eastern & JO Nationals We need your help! If every athlete, coach and judge gave $5 per year, we could continue this effort.
