introduction What has its own culture, its own ruler, its own writing system, its own monuments, and its own empire? Some monuments stand today. That’s right – it’s ancient Egypt. Burial rituals were one of the most important legacies because of its origin, contribution, and the significance today.

origin Burial rituals are considered an important legacy of ancient Egypt due to its origin.to begin burial rituals’ origin includes its background. “It began in 2920 BCE and started with queen-pharaoh Hatshepsut”. The burial rituals were made for the powerful, wealthy, and the pharaoh’s family. It was designed by Hatshepsut. It started in the dynastic period ( ) also the burial rituals origin also were involved with the Egyptian life they needed the burial rituals because” it was an ancient Egyptian ceremony for the old pharaoh”. This means after the old ruler is buried a giant celebration goes on for the new pharaoh and also it’s a celebration for the new pharaoh. Many people gather for this special occasion. To conclude due to the background and the need of burial rituals during ancient times, it is considered an Egyptian legacy.

Contribution To begin burial rituals contribution was also important. To start the legacy was used in daily life because “the built tombs for the dead and for the ritual. Every day they built tombs for the powerful, wealthy or the pharaoh”. The Egyptian people were forced to make the tombs all day. In exchange the get food and fire. The tombs were made before the person even died. That’s because it took years to make the tombs. They only built the tombs for the powerful, wealthy, or the pharaoh because they were important and they had the money. It took was thousands of people to build the tombs, some even died. Building tombs are very dangerous many lost they’re lives. To conclude the burial rituals were a important legacy because of the contribution.

Significance Burial rituals are considered an important legacy of ancient Egypt due to its significance. To begin in Egyptian time they placed the body in the “coffin like tombs. They also have funeral like for the passing of the person”. They placed the body in the coffin like tomb. They also bury the people’s belongings with them. They have “funeral like ceremony for the passing for the person today they use both funeral and coffins that were just like the funerals and tombs back then. We use them also for the passing of people that we love like the Egyptians we bury them and say are goodbyes them we celebrate the person and they’re life. Without the Egyptians and they’re coffin like tombs and they’re funerals we wouldn’t have coffins and funerals today. In summary the burial rituals were important because its significances today

Conclusion Burial ritual was an important legacy for the ancient Egypt because of its origin, contribution, and the significant today. They are all connected because it first starts with the legacy then it begins then origin. Then the origin begins the contribution. Then the contribution starts the significant today. It’s like cause and effect.
