Senior Project Completion Checklist - Have you turned in your final draft of the research section of your senior paper? YES! – Congratulations! NO! – Your final draft must be turned in to your reader no later than Friday, March 8 th. If it is not turned in by then, you will not be allowed to present on March 15 th without an administrator’s permission.

Senior Project Completion Checklist - Have you received a passing score on your final draft of the research section of your senior paper? YES! – Congratulations! NO! – You need to make the necessary corrections and resubmit to your reader as soon as possible.

Senior Project Completion Checklist - How should I dress for my senior project presentation? You should dress professionally. Girls should be in knee length skirts or dress pants with an appropriate blouse. Boys should were dress pants, collared shirt and tie. If your presentation requires you to dress in specialized clothing, then that would be appropriate.

Senior Project Completion Checklist - What is a Project Introduction? The Project Introduction is a ½ page review of project. Be sure to tell the audience about the topic you chose and why. This introduction is to familiarize your audience with the whole project, not just the writing component.

It should include a Table of Contents, your topic approval form, your parent notification letter, a student resume, the drafts of your written component, TWO copies of your Final Draft of your Written Component and any materials or resources that you used in the course of your project. How should I prepare for my presentation? Plan for your presentation to be 20 minutes in length. You should include yout high school experience, an introduction to your senior project, a discussion about your product and research and a brief question and answer session. Senior Project Completion Checklist - When will I know if I passed my Senior Project? Your presentation panel will tell you if you passed your presentation, product and portfolio immediately after your presentation. If you do not pass one or more of these pieces, your panel will explain why, tell you what you need to fix and give you a date as to when you will need to represent or resubmit. If all components are not passed by April 19 th, you will be endanger of not participating in Commencement on May 19 th.
