Things we do well… Opportunities for children to develop social and personal skills Teachers use a range of strategies to enthuse learning and encourage good behaviour Library provision for reading and research skills

The Enrichment Programme Effective links with parents and the community to support children’s education The PYP coordinator who is driving the IB programme with her thorough knowledge and understanding of the programme’s principles The staff who are working very hard to implement the new initiatives in line with national and international expectations

Priorities… Clear understanding of direction for school – School Improvement Plan Policies and Procedures for consistency and accountability Monitoring and evaluating the work of the school Assessment informing learning and teaching and using data to raise standards of achievement

Priorities continued… IB implementation – leading to accreditation by June 2010 Implementation of the National Literacy and Numeracy Strategies Implementation of the National Curriculum and new assessment procedures
