UNCLASSIFIED Korea Navy Logistics Logistics Circumstance Evaluation Need to prepare for stand alone logistic supportability before the transfer of wartime operational control. Logistics system in private sector is rapidly improving with IT based infrastructure. It’s going to be more difficult to secure a national defense budget. There is a lot of outside pressure to reform waste and inefficiency in defense management. Using private sector material and service is required. Because of the fast improvement of science technology weapon systems are going to be more complicate and expensive. There is a limit to support maintenance by Navy logistics capability. Issues of supranational and nonmilitary threat is consistently increasing, it is required to build an international cooperation system for logistic support and disaster aid effort.
