IEEE Eastern NC Section The local IEEE organization is the Eastern North Carolina Section (ENCS) This encompasses the greater Raleigh area, east to the coast. There is a subsection organization for the Lower Cape Fear area. In the ENCS we have approximately 3000 members. This makes us the 2 nd largest section in the South East United States.
