5 BS - Biomedical Engineering 129-137 Credits  Biomedical engineering is a discipline concerned with the development and manufacture of prostheses, medical devices, diagnostic devices, drugs and other therapies.  Biomedical Engineering combines fundamentals of engineering with biology, chemistry, biophysics, etc.  The real-world experience of senior design can land you a great job.  Excellent internship opportunities at area laboratories & companies  Careers options in: Bioinstrumentation, medical research (requires graduate degree), medicine, etc.
