Will your topic turn off a large number of people? Will an admissions officer remember your essay after reading through hundreds of other essays?

Focus on Personal Qualities How have you overcome adversity? What personal characteristics make you a good candidate for higher education/scholarship? Don’t mention weaknesses (unless absolutely necessary). Be HONEST
