2 Hardware  Required: Tablet PC  Nice to have: Video Camera Stand External Keyboard/mouse Microphone

3 Software  Required Screen recording software – Camtasia, CamStudio, for example Journal Note software  Nice to have Skype – VOIP software VNC – Remote Desktop

4 Simple Set Up  Tablet-PC with Camtasia software Potential Problems:  Lower audio quality  No video  Can be uncomfortable  Can be inconvenient – keyboard and trackpad

5 Full Set Up  As before, but with: Video Camera Built in microphone External keyboard and mouse

6 Operation  Plug in peripherals first! Any USB devices Projector Video camera  Start computer Skype and VNC if using remote support PowerPoint, Journal Note, other software Start Camtasia last

7 Camtasia Specifics  Picture-in-Picture is a separate file It can be edited independently It can be removed  Frames per second may be fine  Better audio tools in Camtasia 4  Camtasia CoDec produces small files
