Presentation transcript:

Subject Knowledge Audit/Log Rationale   You will be required to keep an on-going audit/ record of your subject knowledge development throughout your involvement with the course – this will begin with you auditing your knowledge now & recording any tasks you undertake prior to starting the PGCE Course. This process will continue on the PGCE Course.   This will be supplemented by test scores and mentor/tutor assessments of your subject knowledge competence during your school experiences

Subject Knowledge Audit   You will be required to show these documents to your mentor and tutor at regular intervals   Audits will be started pre-course and up fronted at the start of the course; updated before Christmas and finally completed at the end of the course

Subject Knowledge Audit/log   You will only work with one audit both now and throughout the PGCE year that will contain at KS3 and KS4 elements of all three science disciplines and at KS5 will contain just subject knowledge items that link to your specialism (i.e. Chemistry, Biology or Physics)
