G REEN SCREEN By yellow group

OUR IDEA Y ellow group have came up with the idea of a green screen, we think this a fab idea and we think it will improve the school. We think this will benefit everyone in the school.

W HAT IS A GREEN SCREEN A green screen is a big screen which is green that you can projector landscapes, pictures or videos onto. While you are singing or acting you can also take photos with a cool background. Green screens are also used in films e.g. superman, advangers and starwars also TV shows such as lazytown!

C OST We would like to buy extra things with the green screen. The green screen = £200 ( with stands and lighting kit ) The projector = £539, the computer = £599 This will be the grand total of £1240 and that will have left £3760.

C HILDREN It will benefit the children as they will have more drama lessons and they will be better at it, as they will have realistic backgrounds. More children will be involved in our productions. It will also improve there social skills as they will have more and improve drama. More children will get better at reading because they have read more scripts in plays

P ARENTS The green screen will benefit the parents by coming to the plays and watching their children and seeing there children use the green screen. It will also improve their reading skills because the school will be doing more plays so the children have to read and learn scripts. Also it will help with there computer skills because they will have to learn and use the green screen.

T EACHERS The green screen will benefit the teachers in ways such as: teaching a completely different lesson to what they usually teach. It would help the children to learn their scripts and teach them how to use the green screen. Teachers would also have the enjoyment of wachting the play (they helped with!)

G OVERNORS The Governors are in the background of the school, it is vital to the school running smoothly. The governors will not have to spend money on props or backgrounds because the children will be able to make them on the green screen. They will also not have to spend money on paints for the backgrounds. They will also be able to enjoy watching the plays.

S TRENGTHS  More productions for the school  Saves money on backgrounds  Better quality productions  Help pupils get better at technology  With the spare money we can buy the power and more costumes for the plays

W EAKNESSES  Where are the stage crew going to go?  The green screen will use electricity which will cost money which would be quite a lot of money.

S TAGE CREW The problem with stage crew is that there would be nowhere for them to go, but we have solved this by them standing behind the curtain and just telling people when to go on as there will not be any props.

P OWER COST With all the money that has been left over from the green screen we will use it to pay for all of the power cost of the green screen.

W OULD YOU LIKE A GREEN SCREEN namesyesno Mrs Boyle y Miss Bevis y Mrs Alhling y Mrs Attree y Mr Satnley maybe Mrs Rorke y Mrs Davies y

Has anyone got any questions? Thanks for watching!
