Spotlighting…  Incumbent Worker Training  Green Interview

 Grant funding for employers to provide training to upgrade skills of current employees  Training should improve employees’ earning potential  Training will assist in keeping business competitive to promote growth and avoid layoffs

 Private, for profits - $50,000  Private, non-profits (Healthcare) - $25,000  Must have at least 5 full-time employees

 Business in operation in state of Tennessee at least one year  May use public, private or in-house training providers  Can provide training for up to four components

Reimbursable Costs  Instructor’s/Trainer’s Wages  Curriculum Development  Textbooks/Manuals/Materials/Supplies  Tuition Expense  Software (as related directly to training)

Business provide a matching contribution to the training project equal to at least 50% of the requested grant amount

 Employee Wages and Benefits  Equipment Purchase  Travel  Lodging  Meals

 Online video interviewing software  Interview persons from around the world  Assist with the pre-screening of applicants

 Database of 3,000+ interview questions or employer can customize questions  Saves a great deal of money and time  Helps job seekers improve their interviews through practice

 Used Green Interview to hire new president  Applicants from over 7 states submitted resumes  10 candidates used InterviewStream via webcam  Interviews were reviewed online by employer  Top three candidates had face-to-face interviews

 Using Green Interview, Maury Alliance reduced a 6-8 week hiring process down to less than 2 weeks  Maury Alliance saved time and money by using webcam interviews

Saved time by viewing interviews on their own time rather than in group meetings Saved money by using webcam interviews rather than flying several candidates in for face-to-face interviews
