Is this real?

Many people take the moving image for granted. They frequently believe that the images they see are a true and accurate of the events of “what is happening”.

Lesson objectiveLearning outcomes I will develop my understanding of interpretation I will discover how historical events are shown in films I will assess the impact of film technology by watching an example I will write a film review (lesson two) PLTS: Independent Enquirers: I can process information and recognise that different people have different beliefs Focus on Film: Crescent and the Cross

We need to understanding more about the process of filmmaking by investigating how the content and nature of a film can be determined by editing, use of pictures, choice of camera angles, target audience and so on.

Therefore, we must consider how films are produced in order to ask what they can tell us. We must study what films show us and how they show it.

So it is essential to remember that we can’t always believe our eyes!
