14 th – 18 th June 2014 Osnabrück Kooperative Gesamtschule Schinkel Germany 6 th Comenius Mobility

We had to change trains in the capital city of Germany, Berlin. We slept in a nice newly built hotel Ibis next to the main station in Osnabrück. After our arrival we met our Comenius friends and had a delicious dinner in a local restaurant.

The second day we visited Museumspark Varusschlacht where some of us could try clothes of the Romans and Germans. We heard about the history of these two tribes and about the battle place. We enjoyed the playground next to the museum too!

We were in a climbing centre that day. There is our Czech team with special equipment for climbing in the photo. Some of us had little problems with doing this activity but in spite of problems we survived and came back for dinner without injuries. We were welcomed at the City Hall of Osnabrück on Monday morning where the Westfalen treaty was signed in We also visited the church. The time after lunch was spent by shopping and discovering the city.

We had a unique chance to see the German cultural identity in the evening. We were watching the match between Germany and Portugal. Germany won, so we celebrated it.

We visited our partnerhsip school, Kooperative Gesamtschule Schinkel on Tuesday. The students could try some sport activities. There were shown the presentations that the students had prepared before our meeting. students had prepared before our meeting.

The last evening was spent at that school. German students prepared a big feast for all of us. We really enjoyed it. We were dancing, too We were dancing, too.

We didn´t want to go back home because there started new friendships and nice atmosphere among all the patners.

We were tired after this beautiful trip so we slept almost all the way back to Prague. All of us enjoyed this last Comenius meeting very much.
