 New Clubs  Clubs that have Completed 1 year  Clubs in the News  Each club representative will stand and talk about 1-2 things going on in their clubs

 All clubs have the opportunity to store all their equipment in the REC Equipment Rm – located across the hall from the 5-court gym.  Please submit all equipment with a checklist of items being stored.  Did you know you can store your gear anytime during the school year or during breaks (winter break, etc)  Highly recommended to prevent loss, theft, etc. due to storing gear in trunks, apartments, or residence halls

 Reminder your paperwork needs to be turned in a timely fashion  Travel Authorization – 2 weeks in advance  Travel Itinerary – Wednesday before  Maps – Wednesday before  Pre-Game Report – Wednesday before  Post-Game Report – Wednesday after  Lack of turning things in time or lacking communication results in negative feedback pertaining to specific clubs and their funding opportunities

 On-line registration is now open for the Fall 2012 Activity Fair. The Activity Fair takes place on Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 6-8pm in the Student Recreation & Wellness Center. Last year was the first time the Fair was held in SRWC, so we have decided to try it again taking into consideration suggestions from organizations. Once all table space has reserved, then a waiting list will be started.  To sign your organization up for table space, go to

 Other schools give their sport clubs the chance to showcase themselves in a setting only of those who have the same concepts  Idea: Host a Sport Club Only Fair the Sunday after school starts, Time TBA, Location TBA  Thoughts? Yes, No, Maybe?

 Tabling – Did you know you could request a table in the Rec Main Lobby to promote your club?  Josh 2 weeks in advance to request a 2 hour block  Websites – Front Line to all communication to external and internal viewers.  Please keep them up to date.  Clubs with inactive or not updated will be deactivated on the Rec Sport Club site  Rec Services will promote your event on its 67 TVs building-wide  2 weeks notice  Limit text to 50 words or less  Tell us the timeframe you’d like it up  Josh will your inquiry

 How many clubs fundraise?  How many enjoy fundraising?  Creative fundraising ideas?  New Ideas  Lids/Nike  Clothing  Willing to come and meet with clubs as a whole in the Fall to get ball rolling on turn key operations

 Rec Services will be working with the Development Office to create the ability for clubs to use sponsorships as a form of raising funds.  Nothing is set yet, but if approved all requests must come through me or a professional in Rec Services.  There is too much riding on this to screw up so please if and when processes are in place – everyone must follow them like it’s the law!

 Rec Services is in the early stages of finding software that will help clubs cut down on submitting necessary paperwork.  This software will be accessible by club officers to submit items electronically
