FIELD FEEDING ENABLERS Containerized Kitchen (CK) Multi-Temperature, Refrigerated Container System (MTRCS) Containerized Roll-In/ Roll-Out Platform (CROP) 151M007-10

CONTAINERIZED KITCHEN Mission: Provide a mobile, modern, efficient kitchen serving up to 800 meals up to 3x daily Description: 3:1 ISO 8x8x20 container with seven Modern Burner Units, two commercial refrigerators, an environmental control unit, a 10KW generator and other required field feeding equipment Towed by 5T FMTV; PLS / LHS Compatible Cost is approximately $129,000 Value: Reduces logistics infrastructure by 1 cook, 1 vehicle, and 1 kitchen when replacing 2 MKTs Supports Single Battlefield Fuel (JP8) Significantly improves working environment 151M007-11

MULTI-TEMPERATURE, REFRIGERATED CONTAINER SYSTEM (MTRCS) Mission: Distributes and stores mixed rations: fresh, chilled, frozen (perishable/semi-perishable) Description: LHS capable 8X8X20 refrigerated container with a single movable partition, which allows compartment volume to be adjusted according to type subsistence Value: Compartment volume adjusted to load type Reduced logistics footprint, performs mission of a standard refrigerated container and a flatbed trailer Can hold 2 days of rations for up to 800 personnel Basis of Issue: 21 per perishable subsistence platoon 1 per CK in BCT 151M007-12

CONTAINERIZED ROLL-IN/ROLL-OUT PLATFORM (CROP) M3/M3A1 Mission: Enhance through-put by providing capability to transport configured loads from distributor across battle space to forward units Description: Interfaces with the PLS and HEMTT LHS systems 16.5 ST payload (PLS) 11 ST payload (LHS) Fits inside 20’ ISO container Folding A-frame allows for stacking 2-6 high for retrograding Value: Reduces MHE and personnel required to download containers from distributors Reduces need to build loads in theater, thus shortening time cargo spends at port/airfield Increases velocity in the distribution pipeline – ‘factory to foxhole’ faster 151M007-13

DISTRIBUTION CONCEPT OF SUPPORT Replenishment Operations (RO) Preplanned sustainment operations that allow combat forces to replenish routinely. 3d Combat Load 2d Combat Load 1st Combat Load MSO X I FSC I CO RO RO X RO Objective I I I SUST I BSB FSC CO I I FSC CO MSO: Mission Staging Operations are initiated by Div order, conducted by the BCT and enabled by the SUST BDE at a forward location within the BCT AO. MSO tasks are METT-TC; may include planning, rehearsals and limited reorganization ICW sustainment tasks. The Sust Bde will provide replenishment to the BSB / FSC’s along with field services / other services as required. RO: Replenishment Ops are deliberate, time sensitive logistics operations conducted by the BSB to replenish the FSCs (May be augmented with EAB assets), and quick, in-stride replenishment operations conducted by the FSC. 151M007-16

DISTRIBUTION ENABLERS Palletized Load System (PLS) Container Handling Unit (CHU) Load Handling System (LHS) LHS Compatible Water Tankrack System (HIPPO) 151M007-17

PALLETIZED LOAD SYSTEM (PLS) Mission: Utilizing self-loading and unloading capabilities, the Palletized Load System (PLS) provides rapid movement of combat configured loads of all classes of supply, shelters, and containers Description: Prime mover (HEMTT) with integral self-loading and unloading transport capability, 16.5-ton payload trailer, and demountable flatracks Two configurations: M1074 is equipped with a variable reach Material Handling Crane (MHC) to support FA units; M1075 lacks an MHC, is used in conjunction with the M1076 trailer to conduct line haul Value: Capable of transporting multiple configurations of cargo utilizing a variety of flatracks Limits the requirement for MHE 151M007-18

CONTAINER HANDLING UNIT (CHU) Mission: Enables a PLS to upload, transport, and download 20 foot containers without aid of a flatrack Description: Installed as a kit on PLS Does not require use of an external flatrack Value: Reduces logistics footprint, performs mission of flatbed trailer and rough terrain container handler (RTCH) Limits the requirement for MHE 151M007-19

LOAD HANDLING SYSTEM (LHS) Mission: Provides rapid transport of equipment and supply loads without the aid of MHE Description: Consists of a HEMTT prime mover equipped with an integral load-handling system Carries equipment/supply loads on demountable cargo beds Capable of towing an 11-ton payload trailer able to carry flatracks Value: Reduces logisitcs footprint, performs mission of flatbed trailer and MHE Enables units to load supplies in cargo bed prior to on-site arrival of prime mover – ‘factory to foxhole’ faster 151M007-20

LHS COMPATIBLE WATER TANKRACK SYSTEM (HIPPO) Mission: Provides rapid distribution of potable water across the battlefield using fewer transportation and water storage assets Description: 2,000 gallon hardwall tank capacity LHS/PLS compatible with ISO frame 125 GPM pump and filling stand Value: Unlike 3K SMFT, can transport partial loads of water Water storage assets not required at receiving unit location Positions water farther forward - matches mobility of HEMTT-LHS Provides bulk (Corps and below) and retail distribution capability Replaces 5K tanker, FMTV tanker, and 3K SMFT 151M007-21
