 SibFU is the largest university in the eastern part of Russia. Was founded in 2006 by merging the four universities of the city.

 Siberian Federal University was established to train highly qualified specialists capable of working in any region of our country, including the severe conditions of the Northern areas.

Universities, which belonged to the SibFU in 2006:  Krasnoyarsk State Academy of Architecture and Construction;  Krasnoyarsk State University;  Krasnoyarsk State Technical University;  State University of Nonferrous Metals and Gold. In 2012, in the SibFU entered Krasnoyarsk State Trade and Economic Institute.

 Today the University consists of 19 institutes, 36,000 students and more than 3,000 faculty members, mostly doctors and candidates of science (Ph.D.). Among the members of the University Board of Trustees are representatives of large companies, politicians and scientists. The Chairman of the Board is Dmitry Medvedev.

 I am a student at the Institute of Education,Psychology, and Sociology in more detail, I'll talk about it.

 Institute of Education, Psychology and Sociology was established in January 2008 through the merger of psycho-pedagogical faculty of the Institute of Sciences and Humanities, Engineering and the Faculty of Education and the Department of the Polytechnic Institute of Professional Training Institute of Nonferrous Metals and Gold.  In April 2010, the Institute of Education, Psychology and Sociology Faculty of Information went further social systems of the Institute of Urban Construction, Management and Regional Economics

 Since the establishment of the Institute of Education, Psychology and Sociology, and is headed by the doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, corresponding member of the RAO - Olga G. Smolyaninova.

 Today, the Institute of Education, Psychology and Sociology is one of the leading institutions in the field of humanitarian SibFU training. Annual graduates, bachelors and masters of more than 200 people

Training is carried out in seven manufacturing departments:  Department of General and Social Pedagogy,  Department of Developmental Psychology and Counseling,  Department of Sociology,  Department of Information Technology Training and Continuing Education,  Department of Engineering and Computer Graphics,  Department of Pedagogy Professional Training,  Department of Social Technologies.

Institute of Education, Psychology and Sociology trains bachelors in the following areas:  Psychology  Applied Informatics  Advertising and PR  Sociology  Teacher education  Psycho-pedagogical education  Vocational training (by industry).

 Institute of Education, Psychology and Sociology has developed material and technical base of training, bachelors and masters 2 computer labs, laboratory information and communication technologies training, Laboratory of psychological research and expertise, developing training laboratory, Laboratory of psychological counseling, diagnosis and correction, laboratory practice psychology, art studio.

 High quality training of graduates of the Institute of Education, Psychology and Sociology provides a team of teachers, including 8 doctors, 73 candidates of sciences and associate professors, 12 professors.
