2. About University of Montenegro The University of Montenegro was founded on 29 April 1974. The seat of the University of Montenegro is in Podgorica (www.podgorica.me), the capital of Montenegro, with a population of around 200.000.

About Center for Quality Podgorica Center for Quality at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Podgorica was established with the aim to develop cooperation with industry and take a contribution in increasing SMEs competitiveness. The Center for Quality at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering was founded at the end of 1996. The Center’s activity counts three courses: (i)Quality and standards (ISO 9000, ISO 14000, ISO 18000, ISO 22000/HACCP-Consulting and training...), (ii)Applied informatics, and (iii)Industrial engineering.

9.  Center for Quality Podgorica in cooperation with Center for Quality Kragujevac is launched an international journal called "International Journal for Quality Research“. It was launched in 2007.  Once a year Center for Quality organizes the conference called SQM (Quality management systems) where it gathered a number of people from the country and region in order to gather new information and knowledge about the possibilities of improving competitiveness of organizations. In September 2013 Center organised 17 th conference SQM.  The Center is also organizer of International Conference ICQME. The first conference was held in 2006. About Center for Quality Podgorica
