Presentation transcript:

Hobbies and leisure in Europe  Märjamaa Gymnasium  Estonia

Our question consisted of two parts  what are the places in your area where young people go to have fun  what other places for entertainment should there be?  what other places for entertainment should there be?

Hobbies and leisure in Märjamaa  A youth centre  A swimming pool  A playground  A culture house with the cinema  An Art and Music School  A skatepark  Different hobby- clubs at school

Something we miss in Märjamaa:  A good football stadium  A moden sportshall

Something we got aware of about the other places  Leisure facilities are quite different in different places and it mostly depends on the size of the town students live in  Hobbies and leisure also differ according to cultural differences and traditions in different countries

We also learned:  That children always find some activities to spend their free time(students of school Artemida, enjoy walking in nature, riding bikes)  Children who live in big towns have so many opportunities to spend their free time that they even don’t know what else to wish(Children and youth centre "Laimite", Riga )

A bit funny, but true  In our developed world everybody, also students, don’t have enough free time as the students of OS Dravlje school in Ljubljana pointed out.

To conclude  We’ve found out about leisure and hobbies in different European schools and we’ve got some ideas about how students spend their free time in different places
