CChinese New Year is a very happy festival. PPeople give lucky money to children. LLion Dance is a Chinese New Year’s custom. AAlso, there are lighting decorations on the tall buildings. TThey all attract many people coming to watch.

Dragon-boat racing is one of the activity of dragon boat festival. When people are watching it, they will eat a Chinese traditional food---- Rice dumplings.

During this festival, people eat special sweet cakes known as "Moon Cakes" made of ground lotus and sesame seed paste, egg-yolk and other ingredients.

This festival is a day to respect and remember our ancestors. People journey to the graves of their ancestors to perform cleansing rites and pay their respects. They share the food they bring along, especially Chinese cakes.

Halloween is an annual holiday celebrated on October 31. The telling of ghost stories are common in Halloween parties. People will eat candy apples on that day, a terrible bloody candy apple.

Mother's Day was a day to honor mothers and motherhood. Father's Day is a corresponding holiday honoring fathers.

Christmas is an holiday celebrated on December 25 that the birth of Jesus of Christ. People believe that on that day, Santa Clus will give us gifts to the well-mannered children.
