What is grief?  The response to loss (how we deal with loss)  Grief refers to the emotional, physical and spiritual reactions in response to a death or loss

Examples of Grief  Death of a loved one  Finding out you or someone you know has a serious illness  Death of a pet  The break-up of a relationship  Parents getting a divorce  Loss of a job  Moving to a new school/city/country

Physical Symptoms  headaches  feeling sick in the stomach  aching muscles  feeling run down & ti red  trouble sleeping  having no energy  lower immune system; you might find you get sick more easily
