El Club de Español el 12 de octubre Homecoming Week

A few reminders: 1.Check the website for upcoming events 2.We will be voting for officers at our next meeting, Oct. 26 th. Please me your info. Anyone can be an officer. 3.We still need people to sign up for breakfasts for 1 st semester. 4.We really need to start thinking about T-shirt ideas. Take a look at the brochure.

Gracias a… 1.People that came to the Picnic 2 weekends ago. (13/27) 2.People that helped out with Market Day pick up last Tuesday. (5/9) 3.People that came to make decorations last Wednesday. 4.And a SUPER big thanks to anyone that helped to hang decorations on Monday.

ZUMBA 1.Monday, October 24 th at 3:30 in the Pom’s Room. 2.Please take a flyer and advertise the event to anyone and everyone. 3.It’s a good workout and will be a ton of fun. $5 per person. 4.Money must be turned into me, with the form, by next Wednesday the 19 th. 5.Unfortunately, we’re not making any money on the event. Do we want to try to sell something? H2O? Granola Bars?

Homecoming Show 1.This Thursday. Meet in B110 at 7:00pm 2.Costumes: Cloaks, capes, or robes. Sombreros or witches hats, white button down shirts, striped ties, scars, wands, and brooms. Bryan should have a mustache. 3.We need a banner to walk with in the parade. Are there a few people interested in making and bringing the banner tomorrow? I have supplies. Sagrada Familia? 4.EVERYONE needs to be there. To be a part of Spanish Club, you need to participate in the events.

Bryan el Brujo 1.Bryan el Brujo comes to us from La Escuela Hogwarts de Magia y Brujería where he is the founder of el Club de Español. Bryan el Brujo is a highly trained wizard and very skilled in the art of conjugating verbs, dancing the Flamenco, and discovering long lost civilizations. Bryan el Brujo is notorious for his love of Mexican Food, and has developed his very own Spell that shoots Guacamole. GUACIFY!!

I need: 1.A volunteer or 2 to create a sign advertising ZUMBA that can be hung in the cafeteria and in classrooms. You must get approval from Mr. Rubenstein before making copies. 2.A committee of 5 or more people to work on T-shirt ideas.
