Detector Systems For May/June Run MICE Video Meeting April 24, 2008

MICE Detector Systems  Beam Monitors u Upstream s Ready. However, RAL engineering has expressed concern about cable runs and the electronics rack. Some work may have to be done during shutdown. Also would like to do source studies during shutdown u Downstream s MAPMTs showed evidence of sparking. If during the shutdown we can do some tests to verify this, then we might want to pull the monitor to remove the tubes  CKOV u Ready. Again some re-cabling issues.  TOF0/1

MICE Detector Systems II  Calorimeter u KL detector & RC crossing trigger counters with mechanical equipment for supporting and movement installed s HV cables (46 units) 16 m long s Twisted pair cables (42 units) 48 m long for temporary position close to TOF1 s Twisted pair cables (42 units) 24 m long for final downstream position s Coax cables (4 units) for trigger counters s SY 527 HV mainframe power supply s 144 channels of HV boards (A734 type) (KL, RCTC, TOF0 and TOF1 require 114 chs). Available power multi-socket but UK power plug needed ! s PC for HV manual setting and monitoring s 12 FADC modules, plus 3 FADCs (120 chs) and 2 FTDCs (64 chs) that should have been already installed by Jean-Sebastien in the Mice Control Room s Spares : coax and twist-pairs cables, PMTs and VDs s Tooling and spares for (small) electrical and mechanical interventions in a 120x60x40 metallic piece of furniture  Tracker u Will be in R8
