2. Text Type Narration Description Exposition Argumentation 记叙文 a movie 描述文 a picture 说明文 a lecture 议论文 a debate From the large varieties of typology some significant insights must be abstracted. First, a distinction must be defined between global ideal text types and realizations of these text types on the linguistic surface structure. Second, on the linguistic surface structure a combination of text types is found to interact. Their choice depends on the textual strategies that speakers or writers deploy. Third, generic expectations have a great influence on the constitution of text type and on the choice of text strategies. Last, a one-to-one relationship between form (i.e., type of text type) and function (the specific text purpose to be achieved) can not necessarily be assumed to exist. 创思英语 http://www.tronest.cn 文章体裁 议论文 论点 论据 结论 thesis argument conclusion These are the four major global and ideal types.
