Educational Philosophy I believe that every child can learn, and I will do everything in my power to help your children be successful academically, socially, and emotionally. Since education is a partnership between school and home, I will count on you to reinforce skills that are taught in class. Together, we can help your children become productive citizens!

Classroom Grading Academic Grades based on daily work, tests, rubrics, projects, and observation. Behavior: “On the Road to Good Behavior” Logical Consequences Thinking Spot Rewards: Whole class works for compliments Groups work for points Individuals work for daily behavior grades and the chance for weekly ice cream drawing.
Homework & Expectations Homework sent home on Fridays – to be completed by the following Friday Daily Behavior Folder – Please initial every night Weekly Newsletter – Sent home on Fridays. This contains school, PTA, and classroom information. Reading this will help you stay informed! Attendance & Attention – Students learn best if they are present in body and mind!
