11 We expect every student to complete classwork and homework in a timely manner. We give students ample time to complete classroom assignments during the instructional day. It is the students responsibility to stay on task and work along with others during time given. If a student falls short and is experiencing difficulty with work completion teachers will handle these situations on a case by case basis. Parents will be notified of missing assignments so they can communicate with their child and encourage them to complete missing assignment(s).

12 The purpose of chapter/unit tests is to assess student mastery of the skills being taught. If a student does not pass a chapter or unit test, teachers will provide opportunities for reteaching, keeping the ultimate goal in mind which is mastery of skill.
