CCIP Functional Overview AUTHORITATIVE DATA SOURCES For Title I Building Eligibility

Planning Tool District-wide initiative −Collaboration across Programs −Not specific to a grant or group of grants Fiscal year specific; no need to create from scratch each year Does not have a submission or approval workflow At least one Goal and Fiscal Resource have to be identified

Planning Tool A Fiscal Resource is an estimate of funds going toward the accomplishment of a Goal More than one grant contributes funds to Goal A grant might contribute funds to more than one goal A Fiscal Resource does not directly draw down funds from BUDS/BAAS

CCIP Functional Overview AUTHORITATIVE DATA SOURCES For Title I Building Eligibility

Planning Tool versus Funding Application Planning Tool –Incorporates goals across all grants –Open for continuous updates and revisions as needed Funding application –Includes specific requirements for each grant –Based on the current year’s planning allotment

Funding Application Authoritative data is used where possible to avoid duplication of entry –Budget from BUD/BAAS (read only) –Building Eligibility (Title I) from CFDC/ESSR Has an Approval workflow

Funding Application Link between District Plan and Funding Application –Goal and Strategy, plus either of the following: Fiscal Resource indicating tie to the grant Action Step with a Grant Relationship indicating tie to this grant DPI may request additional documentation
