New Year

My favourite holiday There are many different holidays: Easter, Victory Day, Independence Day and many others. But my favourite holiday is New Year. We celebrate it on January the first. We have many New Year traditions in my family: I usually decorate a New Year tree, have festive dinner, we see off the Old Year and meet the New one. We prepare presents to each other at the New Year and put them under the New Year tree. It is a custom to have fireworks at midnight. I think New Year is a kind holiday when all the family get together. It is also a special holiday which gives us a hope to have a better life next year.
