Book Report 1: Make a Mini-Book like your real book! Name________________________________________________________ Date Due: ____________________________ Use the attached template of a book to make a book report of the book you read on the 6th week of our reading units. Rubric for Report Front Cover (should include Title/author/illustrator) 5 pts. Front Cover (should look as much like the true front cover as you can duplicate) 5 pts. Page 1 (to tell the main idea of your book) 10 pts. Page 2 (Picture to illustrate page 1) 10 pts. Page 3(to show your favorite part) 10 pts. Page 4 (Picture to illustrate page 3) 10 pts.

Due on ______________(everyday late loses points) 10 pts. Pages 5 and 6 (Draw pictures of characters in book and label with their names.) 10 pts. Back Cover (should include your name and a short description about you as the author of this small book. Include your name, grade, school you attend, and any information about your family that you would like to add) 10 pts. Needs to be bright and colorful (you can use colored pencils, markers, or a nything creative like gluing colored paper in outlines to color in designs) 10 pts. Creativity ( What did you add to your story to show your creativity…did you glue on something to make it 3-D, put a photograph on it somewhere, include a map of where your story takes place, or some important prop…like Cinderella’s slipper that is an important p art of item from the story. You may use some other idea besides the ones mentioned here, but it must show your creative thinking!) Due on ______________(everyday late loses points) 10 pts.
