Open ArcView project (*.apr) that contains a polygon and point shapefile Use DNR Garmin to upload points to Garmin GPS III Plus receiver as waypoints Use DNR Garmin to upload polygon to Garmin GPS III Plus receiver as tracks Confirm upload to Garmin GPS III Plus receiver *Instructor will provide name of project Objectives

Connect Receiver Start Receiver - Push the ON button - Push the MENU button twice - Scroll down to SETUP - Push ENTER - Scroll left to the SIMULATOR tab Connect GPS unit to PC
