Catalog Year/Term is based on when the degree-seeking student entered WKU. Student Catalog Rights Summary  Entitles students to follow general education, major, and minor requirements in place when the student entered WKU  Catalog term/year valid for seven consecutive years  Catalog term/year can be changed For more information: See pg. 30 of the Undergraduate Catalog or visit the iCAP website Undergraduate Catalog the iCAP website.

 Use for transfer courses without a WKU equivalency › TRAN EL-L; TRAN EL-U; ART EL-L; BIOL EL-U; etc.  Majors and minors only  Option One: Allow courses to count toward a major or minor for one student › Signature of advisor, department head, and dean required  Option Two: Recommend an equivalency to a WKU course for all students › Signature of the department head who “owns” the course is required › Request for TRANSFER Equivalency or TRANSFER Course Substitutions in Majors and Minors

 WKU courses or courses articulated as WKU courses › ACC 101 UK = ACCT 200 WKU  Allow course not originally in “Select From” line  Exceptions to grade requirements › “D” count in “C” or better sub-requirements  Accept 1 st level of a foreign language (if applicable)  Advisor, department head, dean must sign
