MDiv course registration in WebAdvisor “Express Registration” screen: This set = 9 units. MDiv students want to average 27 units/year, so take 12 units each semester plus 3 in Intersession or summer. Suggestions: *HR course for your Other Faith Tradition requirement *RA 1700 Chorale *Art & Religion course *3.0 unit course in your area of interest Alternatives: No you don’t have to take this set, you can take their alternatives instead.

MDiv Milestones October 31 st :  May 21 st :  MDiv Entrance Interview MDiv Vocational Academic Plan Contextual Learning Encounter paper Milestones are not part of registration process, but you should be alerted the deadlines of your first milestones. All milestones must be signed off by your advisor before filing in the Office of Academic Advisement & Registrar by the following deadlines:

DMin Course registration Courses –DM 6012 01: DMin Seminar –2 other 3-unit courses that are 4000+ level –This set = 9 units Required at least 1 semester full-time residency All courses must be 4000+ level. If not and the instructor is teaching 2-3000 level, you may upgrade with extra requirements in class (use “Upgrading Level form”). Instructors for courses DMins wish to use toward graduation must be doctorate level at least.

MTS & MA course registration MTS & MA students should follow their worksheets or program checklists Take at least 1-2 foundational requirements or course distribution requirements in 1 st semester; must be 3.0 unit courses letter grade MTS & MA may rely more heavily on your advisor MTS Milestone for 1 st semester: December 18 th – MTS Entrance Report due

Certificates course registration CTS students try to take at least 2 foundational courses, which must be 3 units each but not necessarily for letter grade  CAPS students the world is your oyster!  CSR students make an advising appointment with Jay Johnson to see which CSR courses this semester fulfill which requirements.

Other PSR Registration Tips Restricted courses "Restricted" courses (a.k.a. “limited enrollment”) have at least one of the following phrases in their course descriptions: – "(max # of students) max enrollment " – “Course PIN required” – "Faculty written permission required" – "Interview prior to registration deadline" – "Auditors with the permission of faculty" -- applies to auditors only Only courses with messages in bold require instructor approval and course PIN PSR courses – what do you mean by that? – A course is a PSR course when the School Course Ownership is PSR Usually but not always PSR courses will have (PSR) after the instructor’s name. Same with the other schools. – EXAMPLE: “Smith, A.(PSR)”  PSR course usually “Taylor(DSPT)”  NOT a PSR course usually Full time? Half time? – MA’s Full time = 12 units/semester – All others Full Time = 9 units/semester. – BUT! MDiv need to average 27 credits/year to finish in 3 years, so they should aim for 12 units/ semester with 3 units in Intersession or Summer.
