Lord of the Flies Sociogram Activity Brief Overview

What is a sociogram? A literary sociogram is a graphic organizer that represents the relationships among characters in a literary text.

Example

REQUIREMENTS Include Ralph, Jack, Simon, Piggy, Roger, hunters/choir, Littluns, Beast Represent these characters visually/ symbolically Place/connect them in a way that represents the relationship (or lack thereof) between them Use size, space, and distance/proximity to add meaning

??Questions to ask yourself?? Why is the character important? Which character is the main character? What is the connection and how should I represent this? What abstract symbol can I use to portray the character? What size do I want to make the character? What role did they play in the story?
