~~Mrs Husband~~ class 5

The start Our class was lucky enough to work with Mrs Husband on the Safe Project. It was all about keeping ourselves safe and happy at home.

Feelings I one of the lessons we had to explain our feelings by drawing a ginger bread man and writing on it how we felt when Mrs Husband popped the balloon. Some of us felt anxious, scared and shocked while others felt excited. By doing this we learnt how to express our feelings. We each had to give ourselves positive names ours were Riding Rebecca, Kind Katie, Cuddly Courtney and Rich Ryan.

Safe Place In another lesson We were asked to draw a safe place and describe how it smelt, tasted, the colours, noise and what we could see. Here are some of our responses. Smell-strawberry and lemon, fresh air, lemon candy. Taste-sweets, sweet smelling spray and chocolate. Sound-friends talking to you. Colours-pink and yellow.

Safe Barometer We did a safe barometer and on it we had safe place, fun but scary, risking on purpose and personal emergencies. We had to place different events that takes place in our lives on the barometer. This was useful as it helped us to understand our own feelings.

Safety Network In another lesson we had to draw our hand and on each finger we drew the person that we could trust and talk to when we felt down. These are some of the people we chose, our parents, friends, teachers, police officers and Mrs Husband.

About Mrs Husband She is kind, helpful, cheerful and much much more.

TO SAY THANK YOU ON BEHALF OF THE CLASS WE’D LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU AND WE HOPE THAT YOU COME BACK NEXT YEAR TO GIVE THE NEXT YEAR’S 5 AN EDUCATION LIKE YOU GAVE US.
