WHAT IS WORSHIP?

One man’s worship experience... MOSES Paraphrase of Exodus 34

"In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, and with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. And they were calling to one another: 'Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.' At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke. ISAIAH 6:1-8

`Woe to me!' I cried. 'I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.' Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, `See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.' Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, `Whom shall I send? The Pursuit of the Psalmist “One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. 8 My heart says of you, "Seek his face!" Your face, LORD, I will seek. ” (Psalm 27:4, 8)

One Thing Of all the passions in my life, The one that has first place, Is dwelling in your presence, Lord, And gazing at your face.

As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? (Psalm 42:1-2)

 Heb 11:6 -- He rewards those who earnestly seek him.  James 4:8 -- Come near to God and he will come near to you.

Take A Good Look At God Jesus stated, "true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and truth" (John 4:23,24).

The Mount of Spirit and Truth has the greatest view in all the universe. From its pinnacle, you can see God!
