Sharp shooters 2015 SIES (Nerul) college of Arts, Science and Commerce

About Us Sharpshooters is the annual management festival of the BMS department of S.I.E.S. (Nerul) College of Arts, Science and Commerce. Sharpshooters started a few years ago and since then, each year, it has been an enlightening journey, teaching all of its participants the true meaning of team work, sportsmanship, patience, hard work imbibing harmony amongst them. As of 2014, Sharpshooters consisted of exciting management based games such as Word Warriors, Survival of the Smartest, Jollywood, Excalibur, carnival games etc. but the main attractions are the Business Quiz, Corporate Walk, Amazing Race.

Volunteers Last year number of volunteers participated in sharpshooters were approximately 155. They were all from First and Second year of BMS. They were Divided in 11 departments as per their point of interest. This enhances the event management skills of the students as well as gives them the ability to work in teams and understand the true meaning of financial management all this with a lot of fun.

Business Quiz  The Business Quiz is undoubtedly the centerpiece of the Sharpshooters fest which involves challenging the participants with a set of questions from all walks of the business life.  Last year 27 teams participated each in the group of 2 and 200 students got an amazing experience of seeing an extremely exciting competition in the packaging auditorium of our college.  The winning team is rewarded with a prize of Rs. 40,000!

Corporate walk  Not to be mistaken for a fashion show!  Corporate Walk tests not only your outer personality but it also scans your inner worth and attitude.  There is no doubt that 66 participants had took the whole college in our quadrangle area which was full of glamor and style but at the same time they showed the importance of a good personality and way of dressing as a corporate person.

Amazing Race  This treasure hunt is a race against time.  How quickly can you crack the code and beat the rest?  In the 28 teams of two participants in each one participate and moved throughout the Nerul east area.  All the participants had a lots of fun and even got to visit the areas of Nerul city.

Word Warriors The debate competition here the main focus is not only on proving yourself correct but also on showing your argument in a proper manner so that you can convince others very easily. The 22 teams in 2014 had shown their way of argument on Social, Political, Economic, Cultural and many other topics and won the game of such argument.

Carnival Games When the time comes to have fun we have the games that can be played throughout the day in the middle ground of our college. Since last few years we are making few games such as Angry birds Mah-jong Buzz wire Gyrobolls Limbo And many more...

Highlights of Promotional Events Flash mob The event was very successful the 120 students came and participated in the flash mob and throughout the college around 260 students came to see our flash mob’s magic which was held in the Canteen and Quadrangle area of our Campus.

Christmas celebration Here our aim to gather students inside our college and make them to know how the event is actually connecting the people in a different manner with few games and music. Around 180 students came and saw the event near the Canteen area.

Janvikas Kendra This was the social activity under taken last year A day well spent celebrating Makar Sankaranti with the children of Jan Vikas Society organizing drawing competition and kite making session spreading happiness and joy.

Rally against Cyber Crime A Youth Rally from our college upto Nerul Station took place on the major problem faced these days, i.e "Cyber Crime". All 200 Students showed great enthusiasm in calling out catchy slogans. Everybody say "There's NO excuse.. For computer misuse“
