412/07/2010 Board Approved Criteria for Competitive Early On Grants Criteria was approved by the State Board of Education on December 8, 2010 Adopt scientifically based practices to ensure the delivery of quality early intervention services, including service coordination and evaluations and assessments using the latest best practices based on peer-reviewed research Establish data systems and use data to inform decisions and improve delivery of services

512/07/2010 Board Approved Criteria for Competitive Early On Grants Increase Early Intervention Services provider effectiveness and reduce shortages of personnel in key areas such as speech/language, occupational, and physical therapy Improve outcomes for all infants and toddlers with disabilities, particularly in the areas of positive social emotional skills; the acquisition of, and use of, knowledge and skills; and the use of appropriate behaviors to meet their needs

1212/07/2010 Grant Purpose To develop or expand upon an existing electronic IFSP to align data and paperwork while providing for stronger coordination across systems The EE-IFSP will serve to help coordinate data collection of the eight (8) results and compliance indicators for Early On to meet federal requirements set forth in the SPP/APR

1312/07/2010 Anticipated Outcomes Consistent and accurate data collection of the eight (8) Part C indicators An integrated system to help with duplication of effort within the various systems This data system should build upon and sync to grantee’s own data system at their local level The EE-IFSP grantee will share and present the developed system at the 2011 Early On Conference and System Update meetings after completion
