Long-Term Goals ▫To adopt 21st Century teaching & learning techniques via fully utilizing the modern technologies.

Short-term Goals To use multimedia, excel sheets and word processing softwares. To use Blackcat WriteAway, Blackcat Fresco, Blackcat Decision, etc. to impart computer knowledge as well as English, Art & Science.

Why a need to learn? Computer is an integral part of life in today’s world. Society places high importance on Information Technology. The promotion of computer education at school level is an excellent effort that will open a way for an all-around development of the students.

Importance of ICTech ICTech Curriculum is a complete subject-oriented program of study designed to teach core subject skills via computer. Each ICTech activity contains themed tasks that enhances the learners’ skills in language, arts, mathematics, geography, science, general knowledge, etc. The course has been programmed to ensure that the students take interest in the learning sessions.

Benefits & Competitive Edge ICTech takes care of the entire ICT learning needs of the students. Meaningful integration of ICT with core subject areas. Activities are interactive and simulated to engage the students in the learning process. Students are assessed without the constraints of a formal examination. Creativity & the research skills are encouraged.

Instructional Strategies & Tasks 1.I will initiate group discussions to let students share their thoughts. 2.I will show work on multimedia and then give them task to perform by themselves. 3. I will help students brainstorm to think from different angles and come up with their unique answers. 4. I will assign tasks to students in groups.

Solutions to Anticipated Challenges CHALLENGES Some students will not be agreed to do work in group. Some parents might not accept the change. SOLUTIONS I would counsel them and tell them the benefits of group work & make them agree to do the work together. I would have a meeting with them and ensure them how beneficial it will be (I have already done it in last session’s PTM).

Conclusion By implementing the Student-Centered Teaching Methodology, I aim to conduct interactive lessons whereby students would not only interact with each other, but also work in groups and learn to understand the concepts and independently answer the given questions.
