The population of Europe increased greatly as technological and agricultural innovations allowed trade to flourish and crop yields to increase.

Catholics didn’t view the era as dark, they viewed it as a harmonious, productive, religious era. The Dark ages were also the years of vast Muslim conquests Magna Carta is signed Bible is translated into English by John Wycliffe

During the dark ages & middle ages the only accepted Christian religion was the Catholic religion. Medieval lives in the middle ages were dominated by the catholic religion
