What does my son need to do to make the team? How much will it cost? Do I need to help or can I just sit and watch all the games?

Parent Code of Conduct OPHS Lacrosse reserves the right to remove anyone from the stands that does not follow these simple guidelines. We set the example for our children. We pay the coaches big bucks to coach – we really don’t need your help in the stands even if you have never played but have watched games for 2 years. Believe it or not, the referees DO know the rules and have a better view of the game than you do 100 yards away from the ball up in the stands. I have yet to see a game stopped by the referees and the call changed on the field due to an astute observation from a fan that decided to share with everyone in the stadium. Only positive cheering for opposing players – remember they are year old kids that are trying their best and deserve our respect not cat calls or boos. If you have nothing positive to say about our team or one of our players then be quiet. Be respectful to visiting fans – be humble in victory and gracious in defeat. When on the road, the same applies even though they may not treat us like that. Be the bigger person. Remember - Everyone wants to beat Oak Park. Let’s make that losing experience a positive one for them. WIN WITH CLASS
