PRACTICE DRILLS Some Drills are designed for ALL Players while others are specifically for Backs or Pack Members.

Three Lines of 4 Defenders with Different Assignments First Line has Defenders Standing. Offensive Player Power Steps into First Defender, goes to ground once his support tell him and last offensive player picks up ball to go into next defender. Second Line has Defenders Standing. Offensive Player goes into First Defender, Second Offensive Player strips ball and rolls out to attach Second Defender. Repeat process through line. Third Line Has Defenders on their Knees with Offensive Player going into tackle after Defender taps his shoulder to indicate which side to attack. Second Offensive Player calls for ball on “Right” or “Left” and first player POP PASSES to him. Repeat through Line. One by One Attacking Drill to Focus on Defensive Strategies Players go one by one through drill. Players either make a tackle on the tackling dummy, perform a Loose ball Slide, or a Step over Pick Up. All points of the drill are done in succession and a second player starts once the first participant completes a portion of the drill. Three Offensive Players and Two Defenders First Defender Goes after Ball Carrier to force him to make a pass to one of his two support players. Second Defender attacks either the offensive support player on Right or Left depending on coach’s signal from behind the offensive starting line. The original ball carrier must react to the defense and pass the all to his remaining open offensive player. Six Offensive Players Four Offensive Players make passes down a line while steep. The last player offloads ball to opposing player at opposite end of drill who comes back again the other way. The TWO Middle Offensive players must run PAST the end line to touch the ground at cones placed on the field and then proceed back for the second phase of the play as the centers once again. 12 DOWN & BACK PASS DRILL (BACK PLAYERS) Drill must Be Run in Between Sidelines to promote Passing to Both Right and Left #2 & #3 go DOWN and BACK on this Drill Cone

Four Offensive Players Four Offensive Players make passes down a line while steep. Please note that initial four passes are FLAT PASSES with NO SPIN. Each Player goes around their respective cone and spreads out to return back to original starting line.
