1 Technical Play Quick Straight Line Striking and Movement Purpose:
Description: 1 Player at each cone, A hand-passes to B and follows the pass. B hand-passes back to A and A then strikes the ball over to D. D catches the ball hand-passes to C who returns the hand-pass and player strikes it over to B. Follow the pass. Drill continues for two minutes.

2 Technical Play Criss Cross sharp first touch Purpose: Description:
Set up cones as shown. 3 players at cone A, with one player at each of the other 3 cones. A goes straight out turns left at the middle cone and as he is turning player B strikes ball low and hard. Player A controls ball and strikes the ball back to B. Drill continues until player returned to start.

3 Technical Play Hand pass support play (High intensity tackling)
Purpose: Description: Groups of 4. 2 players in middle with one ball. 2 players have tackle bags. 1 player solos towards a tackle bag and as he approaches bag he offloads ball to support player and takes hit. Support player moves back into square and heads for any tackle bag. As he goes to hit the bag his partner is supporting him. 

4 Technical Play Strike on the run Purpose: Description:
P1 runs to take hand-pass of P2 and then strikes ball to P3. P1 then takes hand-pass off P4 and strikes ball to P5 he then continues his run, takes a hand-pass off P6 and strikes ball to P7. Player 1 continues his run to end cone Note: P2-P7 each have a ball. Drill continues 1 minute on 30 seconds off.

5 Technical Play Inside out Purpose: Description:
Set up two squares as shown. 4 players on outside cones one player on each of the inside cones. Outside players hand pass to inside players, players on the onside cone strike ball to there left side all players follow the ball. 1. Strike ball for catch 2. Drill ball for first touch 3. Solo and hand pass 4. Change direction to strike off right side

6 Technical Play Striking Purpose: Description:
4 Groups with 1 group at each corner. On the run 1 strikes to 2 who strikes to 3 who strikes to 4 who strikes to 1. Players sprint to end of group they have struck the sliotar to. Add in more sliotars or change direction.

7 Technical Play Pick up Jab Lift Purpose: Description:
4 Groups. 1st player from group 2/4 runs out jab lifts sliotar and leaves it beside the cone to their right 1/3 and joins the end of that group. 1st player from group 1/3 run jab lift and leave the sliotar at the cone to their right (ie. 2& 4). Variations: Start with ball at each cone, jab lift and leave at cone to right. Jab lift, go straight through and leave at opposite cone. Put player at each inner cones.

8 Technical Play Breaking the tackle Purpose: Description:
E is the forward, F is the defender. E can receive a ball from any of the four players standing at the cones. Once E receives a ball he must pass the ball to the player diagonally opposite to the player he received the ball from (A-D, B-C). Swap players.

9 Technical Play High Catch Purpose: Description: Groups of 4.
The ball is struck from one pair and the other two must contest the ball for a clean catch. If ball is not won cleanly then both players must contest for it on the ground. Whoever wins the ball strikes it back to the opposite pair. Add in more players.

10 Technical Play 3v3 opposite sideline to sideline Purpose: Description:
P1 solos out 10 yards from sideline and strikes the ball low and hard over to far sideline and heads back to the line he came from. P2 comes out to the ball, controls it with one touch and strikes the ball back to the sideline where he came from. Variations: 1 Low and Hard 90 secs on, 30 secs off. 2 High Catch 90 secs on, 30 secs off. 3. Support play 90 Secs on, 30 secs off.
