Revelation  Revelation: act of a person  Latin meaning “to unveil”  When one person opens himself or herself up to another

How did God reveal himself to us?  Began with Abraham (Genesis 12:1-8 and 15:1-7) –God chose a people of his own to have a close relationship with him=Israelites –God was so great to these people, and could not be portrayed in any one way  St. Paul’s conversation with the Athenians

Homework Read Paul’s speech to the Athenians (Acts 17: 22-31) Write down in your notebook, THREE important points that Paul makes in his speech.

Acts 17:22-31 St. Paul says: 1. He made from one the whole human race 2. In God we live and move and have our being-we are his offspring 3. God is so great that he cannot live in one place or in one image made by humans
