At the end of this lesson I will be able to: 1.Explain what a polder is. 2.Name a country tht as 60% of its population living on polders below sea level. 3.Explain the words dykes, ditches and canals in relation to polders. 4.Describe the settlement pattern of the rural agricultural polders. 5.Explain the settlement pattern of the planned urban polder.
