Attendanc e Children must be in school and on time each day. Our students need to be in school to receive the maximum benefit from classroom instruction and exchange of ideas. School attendance is required by State law and Teaneck Board of Education policy. Students are expected to attend school for 180 days of the school year.

Attendance ( Continued ) If your child must be absent or late for any reason, please contact the nurse at Remember! Your child’s learning is valued. Tardies result in loss of learning time. State of NJ monitors attendance/tardies (+6years old)

Specials The Teaneck schools operate on an A to F day schedule, with each letter representing a different day on which the specials (art, music, etc.) will take place. Every classroom has a specific A to F schedule that your child will bring home; informing you on which day the class has physical education, music, art, library, or world language. Depending on the grade level, some specials meet more than once within each A to F rotation. If a letter day is missed because of a holiday or school closing, the schedule picks up from its last letter day.

Classroom Expectation Students will develop how to further:  Listen when the teacher and classmates talk  Be kind and respectful to their classmates  Kindness and Respect “OH YEAH”!  Keep hands, feet, and objects to themselves  Raise hands and wait to be called on before speaking  Clean up after themselves

Lunch Bryant School has a paid lunch program (Sodexho). School students are required to either bring lunch from home or purchase school lunch until the free/reduced lunch applications are processed and a determination letter is received. Free/Reduced lunch forms are processed by the district in October. School Lunch Program

Bryant School PTO Would you like to chair a committee or participate in one? We have lots of openings. You can do as little or as much as you want. There is something for everyone… whether it be chairing a committee, running an event, translating flyers into Spanish, or working at a book fair for a few hours. We know not everyone can get to the school, so there are plenty of projects you can do from home too. Getting involved helps you to get to know the Bryant community and your children enjoy sharing the experience with you. It also helps to show our children that community matters !
