Cut-Away Boxes

Explanation Cut-Away Boxes provide detailed explanations about physical features on a map. Open a book to p. 120 and look at the examples for the Mississippi River.

Cut-Away Box Procedures Record in the very back of your notebook, resources section… Answer must be in a complete sentence. They cannot cover another physical feature that is graded. They must have an arrow that points directly to the physical feature in the question.
